Unlike many horse riding places you may have visited, we offer a truly memorable horse riding experience. No boring trails or dejected horses in our family, in fact our horses love to go for rides and meet new people. If you would like more information about any of the rides we offer or just a chat to discuss what you can expect, we are always happy to talk to our guests.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

What if the weather is bad?

We ride in most weather conditions. especially if there is light rain as we often get to see the most amazing rainbows on these days. If there is a weather event which makes it unsafe to conduct our ride then we will either reschedule or arrange a refund.

What is the minimum age?

Our minimum age is 12 years and over, without extensive previous riding experience. If you have under 12’s that would like to ride, please contact us as we can arrange private family ride. Or we so also offer shorter 10 minute ride led rides for our younger guests from our yards on Clarkson Drive, Rainbow Beach. This is a great opportunity for lots of great photos and the children can hold the reins as a staff member walks alongside. Just give us a call if you would like more information.

Is there a weight limit?

The horses in our team are very important to us and even with regular breaks and good tack, one of the most difficult issues is ensuring horses don’t develop sore backs. Although our horses are well bred, fit and health quarter horses (or QH types), the terrain we are travelling can be challenging for safety and comfort of both horses and riders.

We therefore follow the industry standard guidelines weight limit of 95 kg / 14.95 stone / 210 pounds.

This isn’t an exact science as a taller / more experienced rider, who may exceed this weight limit, may ride lighter on the horse’s back. For the health and welfare of our horses however, please give us a ring on 0412 174 337 and check with us first if you are over the weight guidelines.

Please be advised, we will not able to let you ride if you are over the limit for our horses to carry. Please ensure when you call to check availability you let us know your accurate weight so we can ensure an appropriate horse and saddle is available for you.

No refunds can be issued if inaccurate weight is provided, and/or exceeding the weight limit on the day of the ride.

Thank you for your understanding, and we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety and welfare of our horses and guests must come first.

Bookings are essential due to our small group sizes.
We take a deposit at the time of booking and an email booking confirmation will be sent with
more details on what to wear on the day of your ride and what to bring along.
